Cabin Fever Stretch Goals
This latest stretch goal is a second ribbon for Cabin Fever. This thing is a massive and thanks to all of you we can make it to the same quality as the core Pirate Borg book. Since the start, we've added:

EMBER RPG by Foundry VTT
Finally, we want to point you toward EMBER, another project that's in its last two days of funding. It's the brainchild of the Foundry VTT creators and promises to be an open-world, immersive setting the likes of which have never been seen in the TTRPG space.
There are not many games designed for virtual tabletop from the ground up, so we're keen on seeing how far they can reach with all of the crazy tools they have at their disposal.
They are in their last 48 hours of funding, so if a cross between pen-and-paper gaming and video game experiences like Baldur's Gate sounds up your alley, go check it out!

Stretch Goal Deeper-Dive
VTT Asset Kit (Cabin Fever)
Cabin Fever is a bit of a special case for this Kickstarter. It's a community-fueled, Conspirator-created project, which means it's jam-packed with incredible ideas and adventures. All in all, a fantastic collection of content!
Alchemy RPG has stepped up and offered to help support it for their VTT. Quartermaster Tyler also volunteered as tribute to put together an additional asset pack filled with tokens, maps, and handouts to help with all other possible VTTs. This will function like the asset pack that comes with the core book. It will provide the digital elements, tokens, and maps (where possible) so that you can then upload them to any VTT platform of your choice (or print them out and use them as handouts in your in-person games).
This is free to everyone and will be included in the also free Cabin Fever PDF indefinitely!

More treasure is always better! We've now unlocked another medallion to theme out your Down Among the Dead set. This one is a Mesoan-style medallion to go with the Venom in the Veins adventure. We don't have any artwork to show you all just yet, as we got here much faster than expected. We'll make sure to share it when we do.
This one's FREE to all Admiral and Kraken backers, and it will be added as a $10 Add-On for everyone else before too long. No concept art or renders yet, but we will share it as soon as it's created!

A short but important update for ye this mornin'. We've crossed over $400k and unlocked another stretch goal (Expanded Adventure: Into the Maelstrom), but we'll cover that in a minute.

More Piratical Nonsense!
If ye didn't hear, there was at least one other pirate-themed campaign that launched this week: SINK! It's for 5th Edition (D&D) and features adventures set on the Caldereach Sea, mixing the swashbuckling world of pirates with breathtaking American traditional tattoo art in a wonderful blend of visuals. Sam Rusk’s incredible tattoo designs are the focal point of this campaign, and the 200+ page book seems to contain everything you need to tell a captivating pirate adventure. We're especially enamored with the Y'gathul miniature and their teasing concept art for a collection of "Coins of the Caldereach". Go give their project a look-over, if you think it might suit your fancy.

Expanded Adventure (Down Among the Dead: Into the Maelstrom)
I'm really excited about this one. Into the Maelstrom, as it sits now, is mostly a maritime dungeon crawl, but now we'll be adding extra pages to the book and expanding it to have more NPCs, a village, a haunted jungle, and some other things to make it more of an adventure. If its like I6 Ravenloft, I want to take it a few steps closer to Curse of Strahd, at least so there is more than just the ship/castle.
I'm planning to write these extra locations and NPCs so they are easy to see inside other existing location in your campaign. For example, the village might just be a seedy part of town in Havana, or the renowned vampirate hunter might live in an old mansion in Port Royal. Very exciting stuff!

Ahoy there, scallywags!
Let's cut to the chase. You destroyed our expectations to such a level that we needed to hit pause on the stretch goal graphics for a bit so that we could figure out exactly how in the nine hells we're going to reward this chaos.
The good news is, we weren't nearly out of ideas, so now there are plenty locked and loaded for you to grind through again.
The rest of this update is dedicated to giving you a rundown of what's been unlocked AND pointing you toward a couple of excellent reviews/previews that dropped recently.
Alchemy RPG Enhanced Version
We’re excited to announce that Alchemy RPG is creating a brand new Alchemy Enhanced version of PIRATE BORG: Down Among the Dead, which will feature: - 11 new animated scenes - sound design - motion graphics - an original score Also, this will include a version of CABIN FEVER, which at this moment is not planned for other VTTs!
Stretch Goal Deeper-Dive
Battle Maps Added (Token Packs) So we know we’re already offering the big Water Hex Mat and location maps for the various adventures, but the truth is that you’re often just going to want a quick, smaller water battle map or a jungle/dock for your party to dash across. That’s what this goal brings, adding an A2-sized (16.5” x 23.4”) folded paper map to each of the packs. You can pick either the Naval Combat Tokens or the Creature & Pirate Tokens for $15 each, or snag them as part of the Admiral and Kraken Reward Tiers. Map designs not final.
Ambient Tracks One of the best things about playing on a VTT is the audio options right at your fingertips. With this unlock, we’ll put together a series of background ambiance featuring the open ocean, dense jungle, and bustling towns. This is a free delivery for everyone, not just those of you playing virtually.

AHOY YE SALTY DEAD PIRATES!
Its been an absolutely insane day one, and it's not even over yet! We've managed to unlock 23 stretch goals, have reached over a quarter million in funding, and have over 2,000 backers.
One of the best parts of all this is that means that there will be even more people in our already amazing community; even more people will meet up and pretend to be filthy, rotten pirates for the pure pleasure of it! I can't thank you all enough!
Tonight we're going to celebrate over on our YouTube channel at 7:30pm EST/4:30pm PST. We'll be answering questions and I'm going to being drawing the cover of Trapped in the Tropics.
STRETCH GOALS
While some of the stretch goals are pretty self-explanatory, we thought there might be a few that deserve a more in-depth explanation:
Jolly Roger Flag Generator (Down Among the Dead) Two (or more) pages will be added to Down Among the Dead. The Jolly Roger Flag Generator is a series of tables that will generate a pirate flag. It's great for players that have yet to find their creative spark or for encountering other pirate ships on the high sea. I actually wrote the first draft the other day. Currently the tables are: - Shape d12 - Layout d20 - Element One d100 - Element Two d100 - Twist d20 - Condition d6 Here's a sample Jolly roger: A perfectly square flag with two logos on it: the first is a skull over three cannon balls, the 2nd is a flaming spider. It's inked in blood and is ripped in half but resewn. The results can get wild, but the tables are also weighted a bit so a regular skull and crossbones is more likely they, say, nine mermaids on a long red banner. I also worked to makes sure most if not all of the flags reportedly used by real pirates are possible results.
Second PC Class: Deep One (Down Among the Dead) This class lets you play as one of the fishfolk humanoids found within the core book and (SPOILERS) featured within the Into the Maelstrom adventure in Down Among the Dead. There will be several different origins to choose from, each hailing from a different level of the sea. So, yeah, you can play as a shallow Deep One. Or an Abyssal Deep One. Cool.
This marks the second PC class we’re including in the expansion book, plus you’ve got a whole host of new classes to choose from in the Cabin Fever release as well.
Monster Art Handouts (Mega Map Pack)
Okay, so this pack is already a ridiculously awesome—as it already features a pair of nearly 3’x4’ (A0) sized maps and a collection of handouts— but now we’re adding three more double-sided handouts to the pack, making sure that you can reveal each of the key monsters in The Locker to your desperate and drowning crew.
Skills for the Seasoned Sea-Rover (Down Among the Dead) These are d66 (36) different classless abilities you can take when you level up. We see these skills as both dramatically adding to the advancement lifespan of each character and also allowing each character to become even more unique. Some of these abilities will be focused on more skill based activities, such has getting a bonus when trying to Come About! during naval combat. If you've seen "Unheroic Feats" by Johnny Carhat in the Mörk Borg Heretic Zine, this will be something like that, but for sailors and pirates.
Player's Guidebook (Hardcover Add-On) This book is already included as a softcover zine in the Starter Set, but a fair number of you asked aout getting extra copies, so we're going to make it happen! I'm also proud of the art, which I finished this week... so yeah we're making more cool books to like the shelves of your captain's cabin.
This book is about 56-pages and will be released as an Add-On in Hardcover format. No tiers come with this book directly, so if you want to pick it up (for $20), head over to the Add-Ons section, or you can add it later this year through BackerKit.
Obol Coin Generator (Down Among the Dead) Another two-page spread added to Down Among the Dead. This one lets you roll up the flavor (and maybe some unique boons and curses) of coins from throughout history. Is it necessary? No. Will Charon respect you even more when you offer him your incredibly bizarre currency? Absolutely.
